Roman Aqueduct of Olbia

The largest part of this monument is in an area called “Sa Rughittola”, which can be reached by following the road for Cabu Abbas exiting near the railway bridge in via dei Lidi.

Castle of Pedres, Olbia

The castle, characterizing all parts of the Southern basin of Olbia, dominates the landscape, rising up from rocks 89 metres high.

According to most versions, the castle dates back to between 1296 and 1322, during the period of Pisano - Aragonese domination, and more precisely, during the accession of the Visconti family.

The punic wall of Olbia

The remains of the walls still visible are situated in the town centre between via Torino and via Acquedotto. The original walls and the village centre can be dated to the IV century BC, when Carthage needed to reinforce its standings in the north part of Sardinia.

In a recently built residential complex in via Acquedotto, you can see some other parts of the ancient walls through glass pyramids in the floor of it's central square.

Nuraghe of Riu Mulinu, Olbia

The monuments complex, dated to the recent bronze age (1300-1200 BC) is very unusual because of its large and high walls, encircling the top of the hill. Inside these walls there is a small Nuraghe with a single tower from which you have an amazing view of the plain and Gulf of Olbia.
