Tempio Pausania

Tempio Pausania is a small town of 14 thousand inhabitants, the capital, with Olbia, the Province of Olbia-Tempio in Sardinia. Located in the heart of Gallura, at the foot of Mount Limbara.

The leading sectors are the mining of granite, the cork industry, the production of Vermentino(wine), and mineral water.

The territory has attended since prehistoric times and pre-nuragic. More tracks testify to the establishment of groups in nuragica era (circa 1800 BC), as the village below the rock of Monte Lu Finocchiu, the tombs of Monte di Deu and nuraghi Agnu, Izzana, Maiori and Polcu.
