Nuragic period

The Giants Tomb of Olbia ( 1500 to 1100 BC) is one of the largest in Sardinia. These tombs got their names from local folklore due to the size of the stones used in the building.

The dead were laid in the central corridor and offers to the gods and important religious ceremonies took place in front of the tomb in an area shaped as a large semi-circle, formed by massive standing stones.

To reach the monuments by car, following the road from Olbia to Loiri for 3,3 km.
