Sardinia is a wonderful island, the nature and characteristics of the territory, making it one of the most beautiful place in the world. Its popularity is due first to the beauty of its beaches, white sand and clear sea, that blends in various colors, emerald, turquoise, blue.
The territory certainly more rich coves and beaches, is the north-east coast, from Santa Teresa di Gallura, down to San Teodoro and Budoni, going to Olbia, a succession of bays and coves, stunning colors, and the waters quiet, they are visited each year by thousands of tourists.

Then we discover the beaches of the northeast's most popular. We start from the far north of Sardinia, Santa Teresa Gallura, here there is the beach of La Marmorata, located in a beautiful cove surrounded by the Mediterranean vegetation, then we have the Rena Bianca beach overlooking the Straits of Bonifacio.
The town of Arzachena within its territory, the renowned consortium of Costa Smeralda and its beaches are world famous, all with white sand and emerald sea: Spiaggia del Principe, Romazzino, spiaggia di Capriccioli, Liscia Ruja.

Heading south, we reach the beaches of the area of Golfo Aranci, and then in Cala Sabina, and the most famous Cala Moresca, beautiful bay, surrounded by nature with a clear water and colorful details, facing the islet of Figarolo. The town of Golfo Aranci is full of beaches, among others are, the Bay of Sos Aranzos, Cala Sassari, White Beach, Nodu Pianu and Cala Banana.
Being the largest of this territory, the municipality of Olbia, offers many beautiful beaches all within easy reach. The best known is certainly the beach of "Playa" in Pittulongu, a long beach loved by the inhabitants of Olbia, suitable for everyone. The following are the beaches of: Lo Squalo, Pellicano, Mare e Rocce, Bados.

To the north of this area, there is the tourist village of Porto Rotondo, and his most famous beach is Beach Ira. While La Marinella beach is divided between the town of Olbia and Golfo Aranci.
In the south of the city of Olbia, we have other places with beaches like Marina Maria, Li Cuncheddi, Capo Ceraso, Porto Istana.
Following the coast we arrive in Porto San Paolo, with his most famous beach, Porto Taverna, just 16 km from Olbia, it faces the spectacular Tavolara Island, reachable by boat from the marina of Porto San Paolo.
Once in San Teodoro, we have La Cinta beach, with its 5 miles of dunes and white sand, backed by the pool in San Teodoro, has a shallow water with the green hues.

Once in the municipality of Budoni find a coastline, nearly 5 km of white sand dunes, pine forests and maquis: Lido del Sole, Li Salineddi, Sa Capannizza e Salamaghe.
A separate discussion deserve the beautiful archipelago of La Maddalena, located in the north-east of Sardinia, in front of the Palau, which with its two main islands of La Maddalena and Caprera, and minor, is considered a real angle of paradise. |
