Nuraghe of Riu Mulinu, Olbia |
|
The monuments complex, dated to the recent bronze age (1300-1200 BC) is very unusual because of its large and high walls, encircling the top of the hill. Inside these walls there is a small Nuraghe with a single tower from which you have an amazing view of the plain and Gulf of Olbia.
To reach the nuraghe you travel through the village of Osseddu (Olbia 2) and once you are in the car park you walk up the side of the hill, through untouched countryside where you can easily spot wild muofflons.
