Situated opposite the Island of Tavolara with view around the Marine Protected Area, Porto Istana is a set of four beaches separated from each other by small bands of rock. Formed by fine white sand, its waters blend in emerald its bottom near the shore is low for several meters. To reach the beach from Olbia taking the SS 125 towards Nuoro (coastal road), arrived at the village of Murta Maria, turn left and continue for another 2 km until you reach the large parking. Connected to the town of Olbia also by public services.
Generally in summer the density is high, the car parking is free and paid.
