La Maddalena Archipelago National Park

La Maddalena Archipelago National Park is a group of islands in the north-east of Sardinia, Province of Olbia-Tempio (in Gallura) off the Costa Smeralda.

The most important islands are: La Maddalena, Caprera, Santo Stefano, Santa Maria, Spargi, Budelli, Razzoli and smaller ones.

Favorite destination of boaters, and the archipelago famed for its beautiful waters, which are pristine and the emerald-blue.

The only town is La Maddalena, which has about 12 thousand inhabitants, while the island of Caprera is the house-museum of Giuseppe Garibaldi.
